On the morning of September 7, new era shipbuilding held a signing and delivery ceremony for the 9 × 208000 DWT bulk carrier "Pan epic". Liu Haijin, general manager of new era shipbuilding, Zhang Yuyong, executive deputy general manager, and Pan Ocean Shipping representatives from South Korea attended the event to witness the successful delivery of the ship.
The 9 × 208000 DWT bulk carrier has a length of 299.95m, a molded depth of 25m, a molded width of 50m and a structural draft of 18.45m. The owner of the ship, Pan Ocean Shipping of Korea, has ordered two ships of the same type in the new era, and this delivery is the first one. Construction of the ship will start on September 16, 2019, dock and close on March 26, 2020, and launch on June 29.
