Solicit comments on the List of Hazardous Materials Prohibited or Restricted for Installation and Use by Chinese International and domestic sailing vessels (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)


In order to better control the whole life cycle of ships of Chinese nationality and reduce the risks of harmful materials on the ecological environment and occupational health, in accordance with the provisions of Article 86, paragraph 1, of the Marine Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, Our Bureau has formulated the "List of Hazardous Materials Prohibited or Restricted from Installation and Use on Chinese International and Domestic seagoing Vessels (Draft for Comment)" (hereinafter referred to as the "List"), which applies to all Chinese international and domestic seagoing vessels newly built or repaired after June 26, 2025. It is now open to the public for comments, and the public can give feedback through the following ways and means:

The deadline for feedback is March 25, 2024.
